Lakshmi Menon is an Indian super model, born on November 4, 1981 in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. She is currently living in New York, NY. Her interests include films, sociology and reading novels. While studying for a degree in sociology at the Bangalore
University, she persuaded modeling in order to earn money.
She began her international career in the year 2006 after modeling in India for several years. Her success story leaded from a show for Jean Gaultier followed by work on Hermes catwalk and various other campaigns for Max Mara, Givenchy, Hermes and H&M.
She stirred the fashion world when she walked her first New York Fashion Week, closing the Ohne Titel show. She also walked for Diane von Furstensburg, Vera Wang, Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors. she caught the attention, but her attitude took her places. She is the no tantrum girl; girls who throw tantrums have no place in the fashion world.

This 5’ 10” tall model has appeared in famous advertisements like Ensemble, Anmol Jewelers, Max Mara, Numero Uno, Vama, Swatch bijoux, H&M, Hermes, Holt Renfrrew, and Garden Vareli. The brown eyed beauty featured in Indian magazines – Vogue (Sep & Oct 2007); ‘L’ official (March 2008); Vogue (April 2008); Elle (Nov 2008); Vogue (May 2009); Elle (April 2010).
In recent times she has also featured topless in the Pirelli Calender 2011. And now she is the first Indian to be featured on the prestigious Pirelli Calender.
